We have excellent processes, people, products, and services aligned with a comprehensive and active warranty system.
Susin Francescutti guarantees a warranty period of 180 days for manufacturing and/or material defects: 90 days according to the CDC (Consumer Protection Code) and an additional 90 days from the date of issuance of the invoice issued by the distributor or retailer to the end customer.
If it is necessary to submit a Warranty Request (SG), contact the distributor/retailer/shopkeeper who sold the part. They will know the procedures for creating the SG in the system. The link to access the warranty system is on the left of this screen.
In order to ensure accurate and timely analysis of the SG, it is important that you pay attention to the information below, as all are mandatory:
- Crankshaft (VB) or Camshaft (CO) Model;
- Serial Number;
- Vehicle Model (Application);
- Mileage or usage time (hours);
- Detailed description of the defect;
- When the possible cause is "GRIPPING", the bearings must be sent along with the crankshaft;
- Remove only the oil pan and provide photos of the lower part of the engine;
- Provide photos of the crankshaft in the block, without the main bearing caps;
- When the camshaft is mounted on the upper part of the engine, on the cylinder head, provide photos before removal;
- When the camshaft is mounted in the block, provide photos of the tappets or rollers;
- Provide other information (detail of the defect) that may facilitate the analysis;
- The crankshaft or camshaft cannot show any type of rework after removal;
The parts must be protected against oxidation immediately after disassembly, before packaging for shipment;
The shipment of parts should only occur after authorization from Susin Francescutti. When authorized, the parts must be protected with protective oil and packaged in suitable packaging for shipping and protection against any damage and/or oxidation;
The warranty becomes invalid when unauthorized oxidation, modifications, alterations, repairs, or maintenance are found.
Attention:
It is important to be aware of the qualifications of the professionals who assembled the engine and the engine rebuilding company that performed the services on the block.
Assembly performed by an unqualified professional, without compliance with ABNT 13032 standards, may result in loss of warranty.
